My first experience was the Reggie fish muffed punt. Born in 1995 so was too young to remember the stoerner fumble but grew up a Razorback fan since my dad and grandpas were. The first time I really showed any interest in sports was that 2006 football season. I thought Arkansas was just always a top team. Man how I was wrong

98 fumble against Tennessee. I was 11, I knew it was a huge mistake and was upset then but I’m not sure my 11 year old self knew the magnitude at the time.

Probably watching George Lynch go backdoor on us in the 93 sweet 16. I was young though and didn't realize that NC was much better than us.

Born in 96 didn’t really start following the Hogs until Petrino. My first moment that sticks out is going to the Sugar Bowl against Ohio State and throwing a pick to end the game after blocking a punt that we fell on instead of picking it up for an easy touchdown.

Oregon State and Chad Morris permanently made me more apathetic to Arkansas sports.

At least the older fans got to see 94.

When I was born and the doctor fumbled me on to the floor. The doctor supposedly played for Arkansas back in the day. Been awful ever since

When I was younger I always wondered why my Dad didn’t watch/care as much about the Hogs as much as I did.

Now I know

The Citadel game.

It was my first game I attended as a student and my first game as an Arkansas fan as I did not grow up following Arkansas sports. I should known that it was a warning of things to come.

The first game I can explicitly remember watching the Hogs on TV was 1998 Tennessee.

Really set the tone for things to come.

In '69, I knew we blew a 14-0 halftime lead but was too young to know the particulars. Mamaw cried. That's what I remember most.

I'll go with '78 when we dominated the #1 team in the Orange Bowl only to finish 3rd in the poles. Even when we don't choke, we get screwed.

Cotton bowl in 89. I was ten, that's the first game I really remember. I have some more broken memories from razorback stuff before that but couldn't tell you when or where they were but that cotton bowl I remember. I remember it being Troy aikman and being excited about him being projected to be drafted to the cowboys

I remember watching the 94 final four with my mom. I didn't watch a football game until the fumble in 98. I wasn't into football because I grew up in a small town that didn't have a team, but I knew it was bad.

Mallett just casually throwing the ball back to OSU after we pulled a miracle to get the ball back is pretty much what told me Arkansas just isn't meant for nice things.

Honestly they all blend together in a PTSD mishmash.

More recently, the first time I saw one in person, was the dropped fly ball. I said to my buddy I was with (not a hog fan, but loves baseball in general) "That's the most Arkansas thing I've ever seen".

I can name so many great moments of success in the school’s history in the major sports, far outnumbering the failures in the situations that mattered so much but it’s the failures that we obsess over.

I enjoy our program and I appreciate what we have even though no one thinks we should be as good as we are and it pisses them off.

I’m hanging in there and anyone who can’t handle it are welcome to not let the door knob hit them in the arse on the way out….Go Hogs!….Amen.

Edit, this is not addressed to to the OP who I piggybacked…..
