Jay has stated many times on record that Arkansas was the most talented team in the country.
DVH IMO is a top 3 Coach in the country.
I know SerrOstitute and many here will be pulling for Coastal.
Hell, half our fanbase is sucking them off.
I just believe playing you frickers all year and having our top 3 arms will have us prepared.

I’ll agree with that. But it’s certainly more to do with his age for me at this point.
And also the fact that he has this jinx now over his head apparently.
I’ve seen it before and it’s happened like this to other coaches. Let’s just hope he gets one at some point before he retires. I like Horn and how he runs Arkansas’ program. I also like their fans and how passionate they are about their sports. They are certainly akin to us that love our purple and gold.

I’m continually amazed at the elevated level of street cred given to teams that employ power pitchers. Don’t misunderstand, I like watching power pitchers dominate …
It’s a beautiful thing when they are “on.” ($1 to Roger Clemens)
But when they’re off , they disrupt the entire strategy for a series. Arkansas, IMO, fits into this category.
Doesn’t make them one of the two best teams …. Remember a few weeks ago when Texas fans were claiming they had the best team? Most of us knew then they had a shot, but they were a far cry from a top 3 team discussion.
LSU and CC are the two legit best teams , and they have been for awhile now. ……. solid pitching, solid defense, reliable run production….. that’s how it’s done.
It doesn’t require power pitching, … it requires pitchers that can command their stuff.

I said that these were 2 best team at the beginning of CWS and I would root for whoever won between LSU and Arkansas. Even with the bottom of the 9th collapse, I still think these are the 2 best teams.

The initial betting odds on this series:
Costal +155
LSU -190
Coastal is playing with house money while LSU is the presumed favorite.
My take on this is that LSU had better bring their A game effort on Saturday or it could get ugly.

CC catcher is brilliant at framing pitches. If you haven't watched them play, you'll see it in Game 1. He'll get some strike calls that will piss you off while at the same time make you admire the craft.

It’s ok they played already. It’s not like this is the first time the two best teams met in a semi final. Happens all the team in multiple sports.
