They could have ended it with a DP... IDK why they chose to get the runner out at 3rd.

I knew shenanigans were about to be afoot when they went for the lead runner that was irrelevant instead of an easy DP. You can't tempt the baseball gods like that

Im pretty sure his eyes were closed and it missed the leather completely and bounced off his shoulder.

Left fielder misplaced the ball by taking a step back when he should have gone up and right. He then slipped and the ball almost hit him in the head. The Jones hit,lol, hit in the webbing of the second baseman’s glove and he didn’t squeeze it.
