It's not the MCWS. It's the CWS.
Women are allowed to, and have played college baseball. It is not exclusive to men. There is no rule preventing women from playing.

Just because they are "allowed to" does not make it right. It is and always will be the MCWS as it has an always will be 99.99999999999% men.

No it has not. It is the College World Series, not the Men's College World Series. Women will probably never play in it because they already have a Women's College World Series that IS exclusive to women. And women are not good enough to play college baseball at a high level. It's not like basketball where women and men play the same game, so you need to say men's this or women's that. This is softball to baseball, so there is no need to add "Men's" to the title.

Correct, I want it to stay like it was because they are trying to make the softball world series equal to baseball. They should just leave it the college world series, because the world series already presupposes baseball, so they should call it the softball world series, instead of the women's college world series. Just wait until pro softball get's a world series and ESPN will try and change the World Series to the Men's World Series.

Luckily, in that case, ESPN has barely jack shite to do with MLB so nobody will care what they say. MLB certainly won't go for it.

It's the CWS. They can call the softball championship tournament whatever they want but CWS applies to baseball. It's stupid to call it "MCWS".

I like when ESPN shows the little mini year synapses and what happened at that CWS. Good stuff. Especially the older ones when you see players like Barry Bonds, Will Clark, Rafael Palmero, Roger Clemons etc.
