Says the team with your only SEC championship being gymnastics, a sport Texas would dominate given the talent in Texas if we actually fielded a team.

I took it as having to figure out what sport it was. It threw me for a loop at first too

I believe I heard someone say it was the most schools to ever have won an SEC Championship in a single academic year.
Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt were the only schools to not win an SEC title in something.Tennessee is especially surprising after winning three (all in Big 5 sports) last year
Last academic year:
Tennessee : 3 (Baseball, Men's Basketball, Softball)
South Carolina - 1 (Women's Basketball)
Arkansas - 5 (Men's XC, Men's Indoor Track, Women's Indoor Track, Men's Outdoor Track, Soccer)
Florida - 4 (Women's XC, Gymnastics, Men's Swimming, Women's Swimming)
Auburn - 2 (Equestrian, Men's Golf)
Alabama - 1 (Football)
Mississippi State - 1 (Women's Golf)
LSU - 1 (Women's Outdoor Track)
Kentucky - 2 (Men's Tennis, Volleyball)
Georgia - 1 (Women's Tennis)

If I were doing an all sports ranking, I would weight the sports like this.
Big Five (15+ SEC teams sponsor, all rounds of NCAA Championships are on non-streaming TV)
Championships are worth 2 points each
Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball
Emerging Sports (Championships are well attended and covered)
Championships are worth 1 point each
Soccer, Volleyball, Gymnastics
Country Club Sports
Championships are worth 0.5 point each
Swimming, Equestrian, Golf, Tennis, Rowing
Track and Cross Country
Championships are worth 0.5 points each with max of 1 point per school
XC, Indoor and Outdoor Track

Only a Texas fan would claim superiority in a sport that they don't have a team in

How convenient. Let's do alphabetical order instead of quantity

Lsu your roster is made of more than doubles Texas residents and Texas is well known along with Cali as a gymnastics factory.
You truly think if Texas had a gymnastics team they wouldn’t be elite? Coaching and talent is elite on the state and our AD will support every sport we field.
That's not hubris that just connecting some easy dots.

You got me, we would suck in gymnastics in a sport that is regional, not revenue driven, and the talent pool is dominated with a 3 hour drive from campus with talent.
Also could care less haven't watched more that 5 minutes of college gymnastics but if you think Texas with all the above advantages wouldn't be elite keep thinking our football underperforming the last 20 years is the same as other sports while we continue to be a top performer in the SEC in nearly every sport.
