It's true. Arkansas is the only team that's really had our number since Vitello took over. We've been more successful overall during that time frame, but struggle against Van Horn for whatever reason.

I'm just wondering if Doyle will get revenge. If we don't win Saturday, our little chance to win the series goes straight to fuggetaboutit.

Here's the crazy thing...since Vitello has been at Tennessee...they've played Arkansas:

1 game in Hoover
3 games in Knoxville
9 games in Fayetteville

If you go back even further...let's say since 2010:

2 games in Hoover
8 games in Knoxville
14 games in Fayetteville

Just thought that was a bit odd, since only 2 games so far in the last 15 years have been post-season, the schedule has been really leaning towards UT traveling West.

Yoh would think, but that could be said for Arkansas being due vs. Bama in football. It’s been 17 years since we’ve won. We are due, but it won’t happen until we get a big hire.

The melt would be bigger if Arkansas lost. Tennessee is playing with house money because they aren’t favored and just won a title. Arkansas is the favorite to win the whole thing and has never won one.

And the last time a team beat Tennessee four times in one season was 2023…..and Paul Skenes ain’t coming out of the Hog dugout.

this weekend at Baum-Walker will be more intense than any games that will be played in Omaha -

there are a lot of story lines with this Super between these two -

Probably because it's embarrassing to televise a SEC series from a t-ball park.

Threads like this are tempting the baseball gods, and I hate that shite. Tennessee is way overdue and good enough to do it.

I think Arkansas is fighting the monkey of needing to win Omaha more so than the monkey that is Tennessee -

a lot of pressure on Van Horn this weekend - add in the Tony V angle and how DVH has owned him - this Super is The Super this weekend -
