..and they've only played Georgia and Kentucky once each in Football since joining.
Seems kinda low, no?

Sankey needs to make A&M @ Kentucky and Georgia @ A&M happen pronto. The nerve to keep putting these games off. We’ve played Florida and Tennessee like 5 times each, even Clemson twice, no Georgia (outside when we went to their house).
Has Mizzou really played at every stadium, or hosted every team or are they missing some like us?

It's kind of weird that these still haven't happened.

It’s not a conference. It’s a media package.

Arkansas has played Vanderbilt once in the last 14 seasons.

It’s professional football now. The only interest is money and that will shape the scheduling and everything else.

I feel like Sankey would make a lot of money from Georgia visiting Kyle Field.

I thought Sankey was trying to make A&M vs Florida a thing, and it’s a good game, pretty back and forth, but not some rivalry/hate type game to try to force on fans.

With the additions of TU and OU, scheduling went out the window. Yes, UGA and TAMU would be a great game for television but there is now a surplus of good-to-great, GTG, teams in the conference and the competition from the Big X is fierce.
Matching the GTGs against the other GTGs is far more important than every conference team playing every other team regularly. They have to be sure to avoid overloading weekends with GTG vs. GTG games, however.
In effect, there are so many GTGs now we have a conference within a conference. The other teams in conference, OTC, are used as fillers, and “rest games” for the GTGs.
So scheduling will start over with GTGs vs. GTGs as the focus for prime time games. Who knows exactly how it will eventually level out. Certainly, if any new teams are added, they will only be GTGs and scheduling will be tossed out the window again.

Every SEC team has someone on their schedule they have only played once in the last 13 years.

I don't want to kiss their arse, but you don't really want to play Georgia.

I don’t mind a rotating schedule. I know some people like just playing the same teams every year, and I get that. But I like seeing different teams. The Big12 round robin really soured me on locked schedules, I guess.
That said, you have to play more often than this.

It has always been that way in the SEC. There have been certain games that were just rare. A&M has played LSU more time than some founding member schools in the SEC have played each other.

Had no idea....
We definitely have played everyone, and I believe a home and away during that same time period. Weird that you guys haven't.

There is a conspiracy that Sankey believes A&M @ Kentucky and Georgia @ A&M cannot happen, for whatever reason, or the conference might implode.

Yall are lucky. Georgia ain’t that bad, but Kentucky causes problems.

Aggies at Kentucky would be a great road trip.

They beat us 19-13 in Athens. Not exactly a skull dragging. Ain't skeered.

We play LSU and now horn, and used to play Bama every year. The game at Athens was a field goal fest. They need to return the favor and come to Kyle.
You guys are hyping them to be beyond some upper echelon team, I didn’t think there was something beyond.
