Oklahoma still has a pretty tough task ahead, but if they get threw UNC that’s a really good weekend.

Honestly, LSU’s regional was probably one of the easiest. It will be an interesting series whether it’s UK or WVU.

LSU and ARK are the most complete teams.

Sleeping on Auburn? They aren’t even addressed.
If we somehow manage to get out of our own regional, we’ll be hosting Duke.
I wouldn’t sleep on us. We apparently only pitch well against the best teams in college baseball. So we’re saving our best stuff for Omaha.

LSU’s pitching seems to be peaking at the right time and they have a solid defense. They aren’t going to blow anyone out if they make it to Omaha. Have to hope to win the pitchers duals.

LSU’s K numbers play really well in the post season, especially in Omaha.
I love their chances

LSU is losing right now to LR.

LSU's stroll the supers temporarily on hold. 6-3 LR in third.

I think Ark cuts the nets down, I mean, catches the pop up in Omaha
Their staff is legit and really deep especially that pen
The offense is very, very good and perfect fit for Omaha
This is it for Van Horn, it's now or never

OM has to win a slugging dual today. Going to look like a football score.
If they can win, they will host Duke next week. Pitching needs to bounce back to the Hoover performances, if they do, and the bats stay hot... Look out!

quote:I tend to agree, but, the way the brackets shape up, assuming LSU takes care of business tonight, and both LSU and Arkansas win the super, that first game at Omaha will tell the tale for Arkansas. Win that game, and force LSU into the loser's bracket, and the road to the finals should be clear. Lose that, and let LSU stay on schedule, and Anderson/Eyanson will probably be enough for LSU to win the bracket.

From the looks of it, I think UNC has OU’s number today. They are the 5th ranked team so it’s not surprising but I’m happy to see OU make their run considering how poorly they did in the SEC conference play. It’s clear that OU gained confidence on the diamond playing in the best conference.
