I would say you sound like you’re younger than 25. maybe they should do it for them. There was a time Saban would call these kids entitled bitches. You want to make millions, put your big girl panties on and take the criticism when all you do is talk.

No he wouldn’t. This is the kind of stuff Saban would salivate for. This is a star player showing extreme motivation and you can be sure that he is in the weight room and else where telling other players, “we ain’t doin’ last year again!”

I don’t have an issue with what RW said. He, in part, speaks the truth with the 10 wins per season comment. We’ll see soon enough if “we’re some men on a mission” holds any truth.
That said, I’m not crazy about how much and how often our guys have been talking to the media in recent years. Lots of talk about “getting back to the Standard” and “the Process” and “dominating the other guy” without much follow through. Talking the talk without walking the walk (not referring to Ryan Williams here; that kid is incredibly talented and from all accounts is a very hard worker off the field. He backs his talk up with his performance on the field and his attitude off of it).

You don't even know Saban. He would love the fact a kid is taking ownership of failures and is working toward correction.
What Saban hates is entitled fans who think because they watch a team weekly they somehow want to win more and have more stake in the team than the coaches and the players who actually sacrifice for their own team.

We'll see if the talk is backed up by the walk this fall.
I've come to not buy into anything the players say after we were promised joyless murderball in the 2023 preseason but the offense was instead just joyless.

We've lost our alphas. We need someone from within to step up motivate them, challenge them, and get in their faces and remind them who they are. Until then, successes will go to their heads and losses will go to their hearts

Yeah, the sacrifice angle went out the door when they started getting paid real salaries to play. These aren’t amateur college students taking their free time to compete for the school. They’re paid employees in all but name working for a major recruiting tool for the university.

This sums up the delusion and entitlement.
You act like that kid couldn't go to another school instead of Alabama but you're going to cry at him for getting paid and cry at him for saying he demands more from himself and his teammates.

The reality is a lot of fans hate the media and think Nick Saban did too, even though he didn’t, and think that should be extended to the players. I guarantee you Paul Finebaum has had Saban’s cell phone number since 2007.

It’s football. It’s a game. I could not care less if he went to another school. Delusion and entitlement is your world being wrapped in something you have zero to do with. They don’t sacrifice anything. They do what they are supposed to do.
