I usually respect D1 baseball's poll but that was kinda dumb. They should have just moved Arkansas to # 1. Would have made a lot more sense.

I understand Texas losing their ace but their bats have gone cold too at the same time. They're going to be limping into the postseason. They better be thankful for how insane their start was because they'll still end up a national seed. But at this point I'm basically expecting them to get bounced in the supers. Hell, depending on who ends up in the Austin regional, I wouldn't be too surprised if they got bounced there.

They ain’t making it to Omaha. Have the definite feel to me of a team that folds in a home Super.

They also lost their best hitter I think? People dont understand that baseball is a marathon not a sprint. The best team who is also the hottest at the end of the year is usually the Champion.

Its also funny when the rant is bitching and moaning about every single lost like its the end of the world.

O’Sullivan is a walking pos with T-Rex arms but you have to respect the consistency

You can’t throw out their season long resume on one weekend series.

Maybe they will be a national seed...but if they were to get swept this weekend they have a fairly tough road series next weekend....it could get interesting

Didn't Texas lose their ace? If so, seems like that isn't being factored in enough when it comes to Texas.

I mean if they lose out the rest of the way they will still be 19-11. Depends on what the rest of the conference does. LSU/Arkansas are behind them and one of them will lose at least 2 games this weekend since they play each other. So even at 19-11 they might end up in the top 3. 19 win SEC teams very rarely don't get a national seed.

I do concede it's not quite a lock just yet but I put the odds at less than 5% Texas doesn't end up a national seed.

They won't lose all remaining games...but if they did it would be interesting having lost 9 straight conference games....might make a difference even with a great record....how they finished MIGHT matter...but they will win a few games....I hope we draw them again
