Now that I’m living out of the state and get very little Razorbacks news (ie there’s not gallons of kool aid being pumped at me through a fire hose), I wonder what the impact of this Iamaleaver2 deal will be?

Petrino and Pittman might look a tad foolish. Especially Petrino gushing over him and forgetting Grayson Wilson’s name once Maddy showed up.

If Iamaleaver2 was a cancer…good riddance. I suspect that’s what will pump from the firehose…but does this impact team dynamics similar to the beautiful job we did handling NIL money with KJ Jefferson?

This is really on the kid and his family from what I know….lets hope all our 18-22 year olds can overlook the fawning then flip off and get busy.

I was concerned about how it would play out with him and KJ Jackson anyway. If one had to leave I'd just as soon it be now that way you have a clear 3 deep headed into fall.
Green
Jackson
Wilson

still about as solid of a QB room as you could hope for in the NIL era. Feels like we got played all along.

Regardless, legislation better fix this crap or NIL is about to kill college athletics.

It's the wild west right now. Hopefully he wasn't paid too much since he left at Spring. To be a fly on the wall when Petrino found out

You would think colleges would be smart enough to include "breech of contract" language in it. But maybe not.....

It will be funny if UA and UT sue for breach of contracts and they piss awsy all of daddy's hard earned NIL money defending themselves.

That is the way to stop this crap.

Didn’t the supreme court just pass through the movement that will pave the way for making them employees, then they will be bound by actual contracts?

Him suing needs to happen, sucks that it’s us. Might hurt us in the short term, but long term college football will be out ahead of it.

We will probably have to pay a we might sue premium though.

Damned if they do, Damned if they don’t for the coaches…you can’t do anything about parents and how they act.

Should help lock in future contracts. If someone won't sign a contract, f#$k'em. Add performance incentives for those who outperform, but these kids need to learn some real world consequences when they don't honor contracts. We need to sue the shite out of them. Optics be damned. We don't want those headaches anyway.

I think that family has created such a negative image of themselves that we'd hurt ourselves more by not suing. Make an example of these dumbasses. We look weak and desperate if we don't. We're already in the shitter, we can at least show a set of balls.

it’s not like we’re signing a bunch of 5 stars anyway. The people who are looking at Arkansas aren’t at the point they’d be choosy. If you want to play in the sec and Arkansas is your only chance you take it
