It is time to end the suffering. I’m sure we cheated somewhere.

There's bad and then there's non-competitive.

Batting average in SEC games:

1. Arkansas .332
SEC average .265
15. Alabama .237
16. Mizzou .219

ERA in SEC games:

1. Texas 3.12
SEC average 5.88
15. S. Carolina 8.20
16. Mizzou 12.95

Average score 11.6 to 4.0

Agreed. Take away all dumb sports like track and field as well.

It’s kinda sad how little Missouri cares about baseball. Why even have the sport if you aren’t even gonna try

Iowa State doesn't have a team, why does Missouri have to? Is it required in the SEC?

Generally true, but why?

One possible reason is the South/SEC territory did not have an MLB franchise until 1961 with the addition of the Houston Colt .45’s (present day Astros) and did not add another until 1966 with the relocation of the Braves. Even today there are only 5 Clubs in the South (adding the Rangers, Marlins and Rays).

Baseball fans in the north were preoccupied with MLB so they didn’t need college baseball to get their fix.

So why is football different? Remember, College Football was king well before they started playing professional football.

And the guy that lead Mich there……..was hired away the second they got eliminated. Why? Because northern schools don’t take baseball seriously

That would be the only way your football program would ever get a win.
