Ole Miss is 8-4. For whatever reason, the SEC standings website isn't correct.

Thanks I just copied and pasted from the SEC website. I will go through it now and see what they haven't updated.

The standings should be corrected now.

Texas A&M probably sad they can’t play on that little girl field anymore.

I think the Aggies have a good shot at making the postseason now.

3-9

+ 3 vs SC
+ 3 vs Mizzou

that’s 8-10 or 9-9 most likely.. that means they need 4-5 more wins against..

@ Arkansas
@ Texas
@ Georgia
vs LSU

and I think they’ll get there..

Thoughts and prayers for the Regional Host that ends up with a #2 or #3 Aggie team in their regional..

We know it won’t be a SEC team.. but they’ll be matched up with Texas or LSU or Arkansas in a Super Regional… and that’s a shitty draw too..

TLDR: Aggies might have found the next Augie. Earley probably should be extended this week.

They absolutely can.

LSU started league play last year 3-12 after the first 5 series. Went 10-5 in the final 5 series to go 13-17, and made the playoffs.

13 SEC wins is where you have to be in order to get there.

A&M has talent. They were ranked preseason #1 for a reason -returning talent. Maybe, just maybe, they’ve figured some things out this weekend in Knoxville and will start playing to their talent level. If they do, they will be a playoff team.

I agree with you A@M could definitely win enough games and has the talent to be a tough Draw in Regional and Super Regionals.

I know your being funny about extended their Coach’s contract, I just believe it is a little Earley for those discussions to be had.

Id put good money on them making Omaha. They’ve already won 2 of their 3 hardest series in the league making them as much of a lock for a national seed at this early point in April as you can be.

With their pitching staff in how that park plays for a Regional + Supers (and if they get Belyeu back for postseason), they’re not going to be beat. Right combo of guys for the right park at the right time.

Texas never got this much respect in football. I guess baseball is not as sensitive.

Texas also got a sweetheart deal in its football scheduling and was never really overly impressive.

Baseball, they’ve proven at the midway point that they’re legit against some good competition

Texas and LSU have almost identical baseball schedules

Fair enough, but I don’t think I see Texas baseball finishing in the final four like football did. Would be nice, but a pretty high expectation.
