He literally has worked miracles at Samford here in Birmingham. Excited to see Buckyball in College Station

Looks like it’s gonna be Bucky McMillan after all.

Can the Alabama residents give us the 401 on him?

He was the head basketball coach at Mountain Brook HS for several years, led them to ten final fours I think. Took over the basketball program at Samford, which had only been to the tournament in 1999 and 2000, and took them to the tournament last year. He runs a very unique style, all about tempo.

Buckyball is exciting. This probably isn’t happening if Samford doesn’t come within a possession of beating Kansas. Crazy how sports work.

He’ll win at aTm if they commit to the NIL.

Worst sports day of my life…unless he replaced McChoke at LSU, now that certainly won’t happen

Stylistically his teams could not be more opposite from how Buzz Williams runs things so I am fascinated to see what that looks like.

Literally the opposite of Buzz.

Buzz is a good coach. My problem with him would be if he was my coach is his ceiling is limited it seems. Like Mike Anderson was here, win enough to edge into the dance but no chance of making noise.

I guess we can compare their results with this move by what Mike did at St. Johns.

If I was an aggie fan, no homo, I’d be glad for this change.

Very Oats kind of hire to me...he'll do well. Knew he'd be leaving Samford soon after last season when they were robbed against Kansas.

This seems like a coach that Texas will poach from A&M if he is successful..

The Texas A&M Farming Program is looking realiy good.. Maybe they are good at something after all..
