To be succinct, seems like many reason for the two FB teams to have a particularly vicious relationship but I don’t recall much evidence of it as far as excessive shite talking, etc.

Very few people in Oklahoma have the internet.. therefore most of the shite talking has to take place in the Cotton Bowl..

The Internet is great, but it really can't compete with the throes of methamphetamine addiction in terms of allocation of budget.

I will admit that it is a bit weird with both being "the new kids on the block" in the SEC. It is like two families who both feuded on the same block forever... and they just both moved into a new neighborhood together.

But this thread already has demonstrated the dynamic in just a few posts...For the most part it was always Big, mighty, great, arrogant Texas and their anointed fans holding their nose with contempt at the low life, trashy Okies...

Texans have been using the same material for decades and while each new generation of Texas fans things it is new and fresh... OU fans are pretty immune to it anymore. .

It is hilarious to hear them talk trash about Okies and OU when they named their stadium after an Okie with an OU degree.

You'd think with multitude of exceptional Texans who have matriculated through the University of Texas... that their would have been one who would have been better suited for that stature... but I guess not. A dust bowl Okie/OU QB was their best option.

Go figure.

Oklahoma and Texas will forever be connected at the hip. DFW traffic now extends past Denton which isn't far from the Red River, build a wall lol. No casinos in texas so they flock to the Winstar in Oklahoma just past the Red River. It's the largest casino in the World. And lots of texans are moving to OKC which is now the 20th largest City in the Country and growing fast! I just wish the texicans would stop buying up all the gorgeous property in SE Oklahoma.

Epic. I learned something useful today. I already knew Texas fans were underachieving overrated holding each others uterus LGBTQIA+ loving POS. Their easy route is… oh you’re a hillbilly” haha.. and others are right, I’d rather be a hillbilly than have to clinch my arse hole because someone is constantly trying to stick something up it walking down 6th street

Sark 2-2 vs the worst stretch of OU football in forever. You know you don't want that.

What he said is true and it has nothing to do with Texas or Sark.. When OU is "good", they show up and they are quite loud. I'd rather them stay shitty as it's much more fun to kick their arse..

It's also funny he said that. Like OU didn't take advantage of Texas being down for over 10 years. Not the brightest folks on this site. I said it before the season last year and I'll say it again. In the big 12 OU used to play nothing but cupcakes before Texas. They literally had off weeks to have extra time to gameplan. In the SEC OU don't have the luxury. Last season was the first time in years they had decent opponents before Texas.

50% is good according to Texas fans. Thats better than your record against Oklahoma the last 25 years.
