For Bama, I would say our famous fried crab claws.

Louisiana we know it’s the nutria rat for y’all. You sum bitches like to slip that into your gumbo. Shame.

You really thought this was clever and AL is nothing but white sauce(it’s good not great) and maybe little Debbie’s or Brims chips.

Nutria isn’t even native to US. Probably brought to the U.S. by some Gump just like Kudzu was.

Comparing Alabama food to Louisiana food is a losing battle for you.

Well, according to these swamp asses, it was first in America in your state. And it’s a considered a delicacy.

I wasn’t and so it’s obvious you can’t read, but I can tell you this. Not all gumbo from Louisiana is good and not all of you even cook it. It’s like Texas claiming a steak but Everytime I go to Lonestar it’s a hockey puck

You’re missing out. Go down towards the coast and you’ll get some fantastic ones at Bahama Bobs

A Bama vs Louisiana debate on food???
You really should have thought this through before posting. It’s also hilarious that you pick crab claws as the bama signature food that you are riding with here.

For appetizers it would be the Paul eells cheese dip.

1lb. ground beef
1 box block chili (Famous, Four Star, Ziegler's)
1 pound velveeta
1 can rotel
1 half pint whipping cream

Brown and season beef. Add chili block and heat throughly. Cube up velveeta, add in and stir until melted. Add in rotel and heat everything until throughly hot. Remove from heat and stir in the whipping cream. Enjoy with your favorite chips and beverages.

Not a debate. I asked everyone. Go brave big boy and choose something other than gumbo or Etouffee.
