isnt being pushed straight from the blue bloods that realize they can no longer out-recruit non traditional bluebloodz from high school to guarantee their standing in CBB.
Teams like Florida getting players like Clayton from Iona have leveled the gap so they are angry.
If Ole Miss isnt cinderella then wtf is a cinderella.

OM has won 24 games this season and played 11 games against sweet 16 teams going 6-5 against them. None of that is cinderella territory

Ole Miss is a nobody in the sweet 16. Learn your place.

No different than Auburn football in the NIL era but you'll still be here during football season

Coaching is the only reason any bluebloods are hurting. The transfer portal helps them.

As of this writing, Ole Miss has as many basketball National Championships as Auburn...

I think trying to claim that they are is just kind of forced. A surprise given how the conference season started? Maybe. But, Arky had a top twenty (15 in some rankings) roster preseason, and that roster ranks as one of the highest paid in the country (top 3 or 4 highest paid).
Just because Arkansas greatly underachieved early with that roster doesn't make them a "Cinderella" now. It just means they're finally starting to reach expectations.
Honestly, if Arkansas hadn't gotten it together this team would have been in the running for the most underachieving team in the nation.

Auburn isn’t exactly a regular there……2019 was your last trip. This is your second with Pearl as coach. Overall 6 times.

Not sure what any of this means. It's probably not a conspiracy hatched by "big basketball".
The reason this is even being discussed is because two of the lowest remaining remaining seeds are Arkansas and Ole Miss.
Ole Miss is just really good. They aren't "upsetting" anyone.
Arkansas is coached by one of the winningest men in the game and the roster is filled with former blue-chip players.
Simply put - There's no Loyola-Chicago or Drake.

If I were an Auburn fan I'd probably rather see Mich St rather than this Ole Miss team again.

It means blue bloods needed recruiting wins to dominate, but now teams dont even need high ranking recruits or to compete against the blue bloods to dominate. Auburn has only one 5 star out of HS and currently the number one overall seed. Broome was a nobody in HS.

Is St Marys the real Cinderella? The team that already beat Gonzaga twice?

Recruiting ranking are and have always been a sham. Steph Curry was not a "rated" player coming out of high school. He is already one of the greatest players of all time.
This is why people laughed when the Alabama, Georgias, Auburns of the world beat their chest about their "recruiting class ranking". It's a popularity contest.
If you are gonna sign with Alabama, you will become a four-star prospect. That's how it works. The people giving recruiting rankings are overweight, pasty journalism nerds who, because they are present at football practices, think they know the game.
Same applies for basketball.
