Getting to that bullpen was paramount on Saturday and then on Sunday I thought it would be key but you guys threw a guy that didn’t look great the night before to start out. Is he your usual Sunday starter? If he can figure out his command he’s going to be absolutely filthy.

Tennessee doesn't want any part of a Texas road game.

I love it when the heavyweights play each other. Not you Aggys.

2009 did not work out for me personally but it was the most fun CWS I have ever been to if you remove outcome from the equation.

Fun series to watch. Playing Kansas State or Texas Tech isn't the same

Shores has been our Sunday guy all season. He didn’t pitch in the series before today. He was our Sunday starter as a frosh in 2023 until he blew out his UCL and needed TJ, did not pitch in ‘24. His velocity has returned but you’re spot on about the command.

Friday night a writer on Inside Texas wrote a "We aren't there yet, this was a wakeup call" type of article. He's catching all kinds of shite right now. Pretty funny

It’s kinda true though.. if LSU threw their pitchers differently, the series might have gone differently. We struggled against their best pitchers.

Why is that a problem?

In a SR or Omaha, those types of pitchers are who we would be facing.. so until we can hit really good pitchers like that (at least a little bit), we still have work to do

But we’re a lot closer than where we were a year ago.. and perhaps we turn the corner this year and get a little bit lucky.
