That Florida beat UCONN. They had a bad game, and still pulled it out. I hate UCONN but I wanted them to beat Florida because I feel like we could have beaten them. I still think we will beat Texas tech, but I am NOT feeling good about our changes vs Florida... who knows though. Theiro comes back most likely in this next game, and for the first time really this year we will be 100% healthy with all of our best players, playing together, AND playing their best ball of the year. We were rates #16 pre-season. I know because of injuries, and guys just not knowing their role/eachother most people have forgotten/reimagined us as not being really talented, BUT this team ABSOLUTELY has top 15 talent at the very least IN REALITY. Probably top 10 if we get everyone's best + real consistency for once along with the young guys playing their best ball of the year on the biggest stage. now at the 11th hour suddenly it's all coming together, and geling into the team Cal envisioned he would have with these guys. We just got a win 1 game at a time though, and even though I'm extremely jaded about the hogs winning it all in most things because I'm both realistic, AND beat down from years of experience watching us snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. After all the struggles from early in the year though, AND since this was cals 1st year with a TOTALLY from the foundation up rebuilt team on the fly, this year is still a success as of now, getting an Elite 8 would cement that. Which I believe most people would have said an elite 8 was the kind of potential they believed this roster had before the season. This was probably Cal's best coaching job he has done in his career to get these guys to shake off all the struggles, and continue to buy in and gel despite the injuries & losses. Who knows though anything can happen, and with theiro back this next game with us actually fully loaded... Maybe when we actually see this team...actually be a team while playing their best ball. Maybe we will be better than I feel we are at the moment. I haven't actually seen it. None of us have actually. Here's to hoping they continue to surprise me until there are no more chances to surprise me

Dude, we are playing with house money. I do not expect us to handle florida ... Would hope, wish, and tell you there is always a chance...but...

We have a tough game against TT coming first. Cal has shown his capabilities this season, proud to see him succeed. The story just writes itself.

Looking forward to the future perioD

Our chances at a Final Four were practically nonexistent to begin with. Second round was a success. Sweet 16 was a coup. Elite Eight and they'll have to lock tRant down because we're going to be so obnoxious.

We can't make a Final Four because the world can't handle the reaction right now. Hog fans have been in an abusive relationship, and we'll burn down the entire southeast if we get a Final Four out of nowhere. This isn't how Revelation said it would all end.

I’m not reading all that…but it’s March…all teams left are good.

We beat St. John’s because they shoot as bad as we do and we outhustled them. When we face a decent team that can make threes we’re in trouble.

I really like how this team has come together and am hoping for a miracle but I’m going to be realistic and hope for the best and expect the inevitable.

Damn I like this group, they are fun to watch now.

I actually like our chances against Florida more than UCONN.

Full strength Aidoo makes it a different game than we saw in January.

I am sure our defense had nothing to do with that.

We shot 42% from 2 against the best defense in the country and 70% from FT

We were way below our season average on 3. Had we shot our average we win by 20 points.

2nd game and it was hit you in the mouth physical. Not surprised our 3 pt shooting was that low against the #1 defense in the country.

They could completely crap the bed next week but it might be time for some folks to realize this ain’t the team that started 0-5. If Theiro can provide a productive 10-15 min a game this team could run with just about anybody.

Imagine making this thread 8 weeks ago and it actually being a real possibility.

This team just feels different.

Although Florida is very good, there's not a Uconn or Duke buzzsaw types this year. Everyone can be had.

TT has beaten a lot of really good tournament teams. I'll be surprised if we win

Tech hasn’t played anyone as physical as is since Texas A&M and Aggies beat them by 5.

They still can’t get McMillan healed up.

Defense efficiency has tanked in the last few weeks and they haven’t had much pressure placed on them in the tournament.

Lastly, i think Cal coaches circles around McCasland

I think we beat them

I keep forgetting that we have a hall of fame coach on the sideline coaching our team. The intimidation factor is on our side now. I believe it made a big difference in our first two games, he was a big equalizer in that regard.

As stated above....We're playing with House Money. Only thing that would take the shine off our NCAAT run would be a South Carolina type performance and get blown out by TT.

McCasland is a good coach. Always felt like he did a good job when we played him at UNT.

That said Cal is definitely loose and having fun with this run.
