Has any school ever had three ex-HC's in the NCAA tournament in the same year? Now about to be four if Terry lands a decent job.

Smart - Marquette
Barnes - UTn
Beard - OM

2x Texas Ex here, just thought this was a weird record and I wonder if any other school has had such a quick trigger over the years?

Quick trigger?

Barnes coached at Texas for 17 years and didn't make it out of the first weekend in his last 7 seasons at Texas.

Shaka is awful.

Beard probably would've coached at Texas for life if he wasn't charged with felony assault, it forced their hand.

Terry isn't getting a decent job and he will never make the tournament as a HC again.

frankly I am still shocked how many care about basketball. We don't deserve a great coach because so many of our fans are like me. Just don't give a shite.
Baseball is all that matters right now.

Barnes was for y'all like Cal was for us. They just needed a change of scenery.

Firing Beard was a woke pile of shite traveshamoclery

He should have been suspended for the remainder of the season pending the legal outcome.

LOL at Terry landing a good job...

Oh I don't disagree at all, the charges were dropped a week after they fired him. A year long suspension would've sufficed, people would've bitched about it but who gives a shite.

There was a major falling out between him and Eltife over those few weeks and that sealed his fate unfortunately.

Wasn’t golden under investigation for stalking, kept his job, investigation squashed. Stop acting like you guys were forced to get rid of Beard. The tx media wasn’t going to let you keep them. They still write about Art Briles being a bad person.

If a coach gets arrested fof felony strangulation of a female, you fire them.

Man i remember when Shaka was the hottest thing in CBB coaching. Goes to Texas and sucked so bad i forget he is alive until i see his name in some story or something. Hes the basketball version of Tom Herman. Texas crash and burn into obscurity and all.
