This was the chance for someone to beat UF before the Final Four, IMO

They were completely discombobulated for most of the game. Not shooting well. Out of sorts on their switches defensively. Against the two-time defending champion. They managed to weather the storm. It's going to be hard for anybody to beat them if they bring their "A game".

You don't have Bama's matador perimeter defense. You'll be okay.

Edit - Though I'll grant you, they're doing all they can to make it complicated for themselves in the closing seconds.

There are still two more games in order to get to the Final Four.

So seems there are still two more chances, against teams likely better than UCONN.

I just don't think UF plays that poorly again. IMO, their B game beats Texas Tech (which is a really good team). I think their D game (about what they showed today) beats Arkansas.

I think some of the credit needs to be given to UConn. Hall of fame coach, Back2back champs, they were not going down without a fight.

We better clean our mess up to make the Final Four.

Maryland is damned good.

Tech/Arkansas winner will be a hell of an out. Florida beat Arkansas earlier this year by 8. There is any anything easy left.

UCONN is likely the worst team Florida sees the rest of the way.

I've been saying for weeks that they are the best team overall. Maybe by a decent margin. They weren't as consistent as AU for most of the season (nobody was) until the latter part of the season. However, at their best, they are absolutely filthy. Time will tell about Duke. They played nobody through the entirety of the conference schedule. Houston is coming on like gangbusters and will be a tough out for anybody.

I think TODAY'S UConn is probably a bit better than Arkansas. No ill will towards them (Ark). I'm not pulling against them.

Yes, Maryland has a really good starting lineup. Not much depth. I have a feeling UF will clobber them, though.

I think some of you are letting the name UCONN cloud your judgement.

This UCONN team lost this season to…

7-25 Seton Hall
14-20 Colorado
22-11 Dayton
19-14 Villanova

They weren't very good. Very up and down. They had players, though, and played well today. Karaban played like 2-time national champion Karaban that looked like an NBA guy for a couple years. McNeely is a lottery pick Ball's a good player. They can still play really tough. They're just WILDLY inconsistent.

This is the correct take. UF played like absolute dogshit. Condon and Co were beat down low all game. Lucky to survive, will have to play with more confidence and heart down low to advance further.
