We enter the SEC as the most storied and successful baseball program in NCAA history.

- Texas is ranked #1 in all-time wins amongst major programs (3791)
- Texas has the highest all-time winning percentage (.724)
- Texas has the most NCAA tournament appearances (63)
- Texas has won the most NCAA tournament games (258)
- Texas has the most College World Series appearances (38)
- Texas has won the most College World Series games (88)
- Texas has won 6 national championships
- Texas also has 6 Runner-Up finishes
- Texas has the winningest all-time coach, Augie Garrido

In our first SEC series we have already have a road sweep. The first SEC road series sweep by a new conference member since 1992.

I am looking forward to our first SEC home series with LSU this weekend. I've been a season ticket holder for 12 years now. The Disch rivals any atmosphere you've faced in the SEC. Good luck and I hope to meet some LSU fans that have traveled to Austin.

LSU played @ Texas 2 years ago. Not like weve never seen it before. Oh and we won, lol. You are not going to scare anyone in the SEC with your venue my friend. Should be a fun, competitive weekend.

not yet.. not yet..

I expect our big donors to take the next year or two to see most of the parks, and then write some big checks to tear the Disch down or renovate it into something pretty great. The street beyond right field is a challenge, but the one behind left field can be moved in my opinion.

We could play at Dell Diamond for a year if needed. We also could build something brand new in East Austin somewhere. The baseball field doesn’t have to be on campus imo. Could turn the Disch into a parking lot/garage for football if you did that.

BigBro - gotta say - you are a very reasonable poster. Hard to believe you are a Texas fan, but your posts are consistently solid, and you’ve forced me to reconsider that maybe… just maybe… not all Texas fans are… Texass fans…

The rest you … eat a bag of… well, you know the drill.

Texas grad and

Texans are arrogant, myself included, and I’m definitely not reasonable at times.. but I also respect the baseball gods too much to intentionally step in a pile of shite like most on here.

eta: as an example, see poster above this one.. he constantly steps in his own shite
