Why is Georgia such a historical underachiever?

With the mutts limping out of the tournament today like an old wet dying dog it begs the question to be asked again. Why do UGA sports underperform? No school outside of arguably UF and Texas has more resources in this league.
-flagship state school in a highly populated state
-most populated city in the SEC in their state.
Men’s Basketball: pathetic program. Hasn’t won a NCAAT game since 2002. (Later vacated Lolol)
Baseball: haven’t been to a CWS since 2008. Only title won in 1990.
Football: the sleeping giant has been on a tear since Kirby but they went 40 years between titles.
To put into perspective, UGA’s big rival has won 6 titles across these 3 sports since 1990, 1 more football title, 5 final fours, and 9 CWS appearances since the pups last appearance.

They are a football school and don't care about basketball or baseball.

I always just assumed that baseball lacked because the Braves signed all the good players in state. Even when GT was good at baseball seemed like most of their top talent came from out of state.

Weak excuse. In this day and age these programs are sports factories and the investment they make would support that. They try, but just stink.

UGA has never fully invested in basketball. Baseball could be a sleeping giant. Not fully invested there either

Could be that the athletes suffer from chronic fatigue walking up and down those freakin' hills on that UGA campus...

How many NCs does Arkansas have in College Baseball? 100% fewer than UGA.

We’re making progress. Your team lost to this same UGA basketball team and you haven’t beat us in football in 4 years. You’re CLEARLY far superior in basketball so you fricks shouldn’t have any issues amrite?

They don't try enough or they wouldn't have that problem.
