I think this is the first time we have been the number 1 overall. But maybe the 99 team was.

It is. Duke was the top seed in 99.

I believe they were # 1 in the 1998-1999 tournament but Duke was the overall #1 seed

I remember an article about Calipari telling Barbee not to feel bad, that it is nearly impossible to win consistently at Auburn. I wish I could find it.

I remember watching games in the barn.

I was in a tumbling class there when a student in fencing got the foil stuck through his leg after the tip broke off.

Feels weird. Auburn is the #1 team going into the tournament and the big talk is that North Carolina got the last spot and maybe should not have
