But I'm not sure why we're not in consideration for the top overall seed. I get that our ooc was a little lacking, but man do we have some quality wins. I wouldn't want to play us right now.

Also, good luck to every SEC squad who makes it to the dance, hopefully we all ball out and make some noise!

The selection committee always puts more emphasis on regular season performance than conference tournament performance.

It won't matter you will still get a #1 seed and a pretty favorable draw.

Auburn has 5 more Q1 wins (16 to 11).
I don't understand why Duke is a lock for the East when we have more Q1 wins than them.

Because of your OOC schedule.

16 quad 1 wins and champions of the best conference. Hard to top that. Regardless of their backslide.

Duke is always favored by the NCAA. They seldom play a tournament game out of state the first two rounds.

It almost would've been better losing this game. West #1 starts in Raleigh but then the second weekend is in San Francisco. Whereas Midwest #2 (what Vols will be) starts in Lexington and the second weekend is in Indianapolis.

1 seed gets to avoid a hot Wisconsin 3 seed. That alone is worth it regardless of travel.

Yeah that bit Duke in the arse a few years ago when they had to play South Carolina in Greenville.

Midwest: #1 Houston, #2 Vols, #3 Wisconsin, #4 A&M, #5 Purdue
West: #1 UF, #2 St Johns, #3 Texas Tech, #4 Michigan, #5 Clemson

Wisconsin also going to have a huge home court advantage in Indy. Was the same thing with Purdue in elite 8 last year in Midwest bracket.

You fellas are going to win it all. UF is a very good team that crushed good teams in the SEC tournament. It's pitiful that LSU cannot commit to the mens basketball program due to many knuckleheads being close to tee program. The team needs a complete overhaul

Vols are projected to be #2 in the East now, not the Midwest.
