Some teams just wear down at the end of the season. I don't say that to knock Mizzou. I've seen it happen here and a lot of other schools. Some teams just run out of gas in the home stretch.

They might rally in post season but sometimes a team just doesn't have anything in the tank at the end... mentally or physically.

Terrible late game rotations by Gates. He has kept our 3pt shooters in for the last 5 minutes instead of slashers & D guys. The Vandy game was the type game that makes you question their competency.

We led the nation for most the year in getting to the line and Gates has killed that by his rotation choices.

after the bama game we decided we didn't need to play defense. we could give up 90+ points every game and still win. sadly, we were wrong

Though a different level of competition, Bama didn't do so well down the stretch either.

Forgot how to play defense. Literally went from a top 5 defense during January to February to dead last the last 8 games.

Don't suck shite tomorrow and maybe you'll get a chance to get Mizzou'd, up and down the court on Thursday.

Mizzou went 1-4 vs Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, Kentucky and South Carolina. Bama went 3-2 vs Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida and Auburn

Perhaps, but at least we don't throw racial slurs at our own players like kU fans do. Remind me again...why is a fan of a floundering big 12 school on the SEC Boards anyway?

Combination of over relying on the three ball and teams figuring out that if they don’t turn it over against us guarding 35 ft from the basket means there’s a lot of space and it can be taken advantage of.

They can still be a dangerous team if they start attacking the basket more and do a better job of switching screens.

Bama closed out 3-4, and as I noted, it was against much better competition. But, Bama also has a much better roster and HC than the Mizzou team that beat us. So, it's not unfair to look at ourselves and say Bama faltered as well down the stretch and slipped from a 1 to a 2 seed because of it.

I guess we can predict a run of Conference and National Titles then?
