Imagine losing 2 games in a row and STILL being rated #1 overall.

It’s almost like the players who lost 2 regular season games all year knew this and then didn’t try as hard once they locked up the SEC.

Don’t tell that to A&M and alabama fans.

Alabama beat Houston and played in a tougher conference, doesn't make sense that they would be a higher seed than Alabama.

It's all metric based seeding and rankings. Houston seems to regularly just have that covered inspite of SoS

Don't really care if Bama is 2, but I do not understand why Houston is not getting knocked for a quad 2 lose. I think who you lose to should be just as important if not more so then who you beat.

Houston's ability to beat so many somewhat decent teams 75-50 while holding them to 25% on field goals is the Siren Song of NET metrics.
