I gave you an opportunity to not click on it, so your down vote is just snowflake reactions. The No 1 ranked Oklahoma 19-0 will face the No.10 ranked 20-0 Gamecocks this weekend. I wouldn't expect us to sweep them or even take the series, but our new first year coach has these girls clicking and fresh off a sweep of the No. 9 Duke. Look forward to watching because it will tell us more about where the program really is at this stage. I watched the Softball World Series last year and kind of got hooked and now this....geez....

Thanks for starting this thread.

These are the last two softball teams without a loss. Not in the SEC, but in the nation. It should be a great series, and I hope it is.

Should be exciting. Curious to see how South Carolina plays in front of 5,000 fans. USC's best player Quincy Lillio transferred from Oklahoma. She couldn't get on the field the last 2 years at OU so I'm glad she is somewhere where she can play.

Murphy built this program but sonofabitch if we haven't failed to live up to expectations for a full decade now

and I am preliminarily bitching about Oklahoma getting to play home games in the WCWS

Do you bitch about Nebraska playing home games in baseball too?

Good fricking luck.. You don't realize how good they are until you play them.. It's honestly ridiculous..

So, put you down as someone that supports moving/rotating the SEC baseball tournament?

I think SC wins at least 1 of the 3 games.

I'd argue Arianna Rodi is the best player on SC with lillio a close second.

The home advantage doesn’t help us out…lol WCWS is usually the first week of baseball regionals which sucks cause you get a split crowd.

Coach Chastain has done extremely well so far. She's not bad looking either.

South Carolina dismantled Duke this last week 3 games in a row. While I dont think Duke is the Duke of last year they are still a quality team. I think OU will play well and if OU wants to win 3 games with their best pitchers they can. I do think OU would like to use all their pitchers to see what they got which if thats the case South Carolina could take a game. OU really needs to go 3-0 with Texas and Florida on the schedule to stay ahead. It will be a tough environment although the weather Sat isnt ideal.... may be played on Sunday. Still great to see two undefeated teams square off!
