Is it possible to just concede the rest of the regular season, rest and get healthy, and go in as a lower seed?
I'm starting to have deja vu from last year.

I hear ya brother.
I wish we could take a week off and then play two games and skip the SEC tourney.
The grind is real.

That's what Kentucky needs.

I'm not an advocate for throwing games, but bowing out of the SEC tourney early wouldn't be the worst thing.

With the committee making it clear the last 2 years the tournaments do not change their seeding/selection at all I am all for sitting anyone with even the slightest possible medical issue. There is zero to gain in winning that tournament other than being the champion of it.
And at this point most of us have higher aspirations which will be pretty clearly negatively effected by playing 3 physical wars in 3 days in Nashville immediately following a grueling 2 months of conference play.

I agree. If you're not playing for a bid by winning it all there is really no reason, other than pride, to go all out to win those games. It sucks, but that is the reality.
Then, there is the side of me that feels that of you're going to play them, play to win them.

North Carolina has fallen so hard compared to what they were ranked pre-season. Ooof.

All I know is if Im a #1 seed I wouldn't want to see Missouri sitting there as a 4 seed in my bracket.
That is a very dangerous team playing high level basketball right now.

Yea, we're looking pretty dangerous right now. Hopefully we're not peaking too soon.

If UK can get Robinson and Butler healthy for the tourney and they're a 5 or 6 seed, they are not a team I would want to play either.
