USM is a good program. Tough to win at the Pete midweek. We pitched well. One bad play and it would have been a 1-0 pitchers duel.
Do you think LSU will go unbeaten in the midweek? No. One of the smaller D1 programs in the state will knock them off like they always do.

USM is strong in baseball but we still lead the overall series 86-45. Like most teams we have a lot of new every day players. Pitching was strong. I think we will be okay. It was the fourth game of the season.

Wake Forest, NCSt, and OK St all ranked teams that lost their midweek yesterday.
