They’re live on SEC Network from Daytona today and just talking about the race. What does this have to do with the SEC? And why would the conference be okay with the platform that is supposed to highlight the conference being used for something like this?

It's in the south and a ton of sec fans like NASCAR.
Or used to anyway.

I believe the SEC Network is owned by ESPN not the SEC, so they can show whatever they want. They also have a show by a cooking dude that is about Southern culture called True South that doesn't have anything to do with SEC sports.

I abandoned NASCAR after those white drivers surrounded Bubba and tried to hang him just because he wanted to participate. Thank God for the 100 FBI Special Agents that arrived in the nick of time.

I was done when Dale went down.

I guess they don’t know shite about baseball.
It was opening day and all and they put them at a race.

Nowadays, I can count the amount of people I know that follow NASCAR on one hand.

Yeah they don’t talk sec a lot outside of football season. I tuned in a couple weeks ago and they were talking about food and cars

NASCAR is inherently Southern. Richard Petty, Bobby Allison, and Dale Earnhart are just some of the big names in the sport, and they have deep Southern roots. Frankly, it already sounds more interesting than anything Finebaum has on.

In the one sport you can't go woke in.
So dumb on them.

It’s still fun. Truck series was a great race last night. I’m headed down to Atlanta next week. Got the rv ready and gonna be on the infield for 4 days. It’s a party

I rank these two right to Finebaum. I do not waste my time on these guys.

If it was just McGee I would listen.

The SEC Network is badly mismanaged.
Giving those two douchebags a platform is proof of it

It really is. I’ve never understood why, especially during football season, Peter Burns & Chris Doering’s morning radio broadcast is not televised on the SEC Network every single day. Why they only broadcast it Monday & Friday’s during the season, and not at all during basketball and baseball seasons.

I used to never miss watching a race.
I could not tell you the last time I watched NASCAR. Must be 20+ years since I watched a full race.
