Why is this event in North Carolina when we don't have any SEC schools in that state? (See link if you want to see the schedule. Like rowing, there are only 4 schools with equestrian teams.)

I hope rowing and equestrian don't count toward the SEC All-Sports Champion.

I say we combine both events and put the horses in the canoes, and see what happens.

Going for 7 straight SEC titles. Bow to your SEC horse overlords.

They do but you can only win the number of points that there are teams participating. So the champ would get 4 points whereas the SEC champ in a sport with all teams participating would get 16 points towards their total score.
It's pretty sad that I know this.

My wife went to an equestrian college before she finally moved on to a real school and a real degree and she thinks it's cute that some SEC schools think they are hot shite in the horse world. They would get destroyed if they had to compete with her old school

I would have imagined that Kentucky would have some sort of nice horse place.
I think they call them a hippodrome.
Or maybe even Aiken SC or Ocala Fl.
