Now would be a good time to remind everyone that Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, and Brett Favre all played HS in Mississippi, all played college football in Mississippi, and not a single one was offered a football scholarship from Ole Miss, the flagship school of the state.

Ole Miss can pay out the arse for players.

You guys still ain't shite.

It was like the twilight zone talking with Ole Miss. They are collectively one of the most delusional bunch of coaches you could ever meet. frick Lane and that whole crew (outside of coach Schexnayder).

Why wouldn’t I?

I’m no Ole Miss fan, they can frick themselves.

Their ‘offer’ was underhanded, extremely poor timing, and something they never intended to make good on…they were more trying disrupt (my son finding an SEC school) than they were interested, and that doesn’t even make sense.

Not at all. The opposite. It was their interference, with faked intent, that was baffling.

This would hold a lot more weight if it was from anyone other than a Memphis state fan. Your entire city and college is shithole cesspool populated by scum.

You’re mistaking autism for intent. Lane has Asperger’s no doubt

I also think it was just poor timing and they felt rushed to action…and after they felt pressed by what their offer meant to the coach who set it up.

I think philosophically their special teams coordinator does not believe in ‘kicking talent’ either. Which albeit strange, it’s definitely his choice. He got an all-state hockey and WR to coach up. They have a very good assistant…so it may work.

I mean Brennan deserved a look but he wasn't going to play over Jordan Ta'amu or Matt Corral anyway

He signed with Ole Miss then got married which wasn't allowed on the football team. So he went to Arkansas that allowed married students.
