They have the same problems they've always had.

Has nothing to do with Jayden, Nabers, and BTJ. Our defense was historically bad.

I think there’s going to be a greater emphasis on strength of schedule after this season and Notre Dame schedule was dog shite this year

They will pay the NIL as long as that model exists. They can continue to schedule their way into contention as an Independent and quasi-ACC member.

No, but this was closer than Kelly got.
This ND put up a fight in the title game and won actual postseason games.
2012 is the closest Kelly got and it was clear they didn’t really belong despite their record.

They put up a fight but it was painfully apparent they didn’t have the horses to play with Ohio state.
ND will be forced to join a conference eventually. The SEC and BIG aren’t going to allow ND to schedule their way into the playoffs yearly.

Yes ND doesnt have enough playmakers yet but Tell me who was beating OSU in the playoffs? Nobody thats who.
