I am more and more convinced that the CFP needs to use a modified NFL conference championship model.

Exactly. And OSU being an 8 seed was a total joke. ND was underseeded as well because of the stupid system.

If they do a bye then the team with a bye shouldn't wait almost a month to play again. Maybe do away with conference championship games or don't do a bye.
