Aggie came in here and had a nice little season their first year in the sec with manziel winning 11 games. So did Missouri making the sec title soon after joining. And even lowly Arkansas made the sec champ within 3 years of joining the league. You had some success year 1 but that’s how the sec likes to ingratiate new members by giving them a small taste of success before being sucked into the never ending meat grinder. Enjoy your quaint little run.

tu may not enjoy the level of success they did this season in the SEC, but it's a safe bet they won't be the decade-long cellar dweller that is R-Kansas.

What does that have to do with the topic being discussed?

Let’s talk, Arky. I like you, but how are you going to compete in the new SEC?
Your SWC advantage was that you were choice #2 for kids that didn’t go to Texas. When you left for the SEC - you were the Texas kids’ choice if they wanted to play SEC ball.

Where are you now? You can’t compete with Arkansas kids. Where are you going to get players surrounded by A&M, Texas, OU and Mizzou?

Projecting the Lone Ranger's success based on the mishaps of 3 Tontos.

Consider the SWAC. Arky might do well there.

Arkansas was the fourth choice for players in Texas behind Texas, A&M and Oklahoma.

Texas won the 1st ever Big 12 title too. OU sucked the first 4 years then went on to win more Big 12 titles than the rest of the league combined.

I guess he's implying that Aggies aren't our standard.

2 of the first 3 years to boot.

Will tejas be able to match lowly Mizzou on that?

I disagree. In the old SWC, OU was a big 8 team. If you wanted your folks and girlfriend to watch you play and you weren’t going to Texas, you went Arky.
