A friend invited me to that dump to see Ole Miss coming to town. I would bet the house that they didn't have 5-6k fans in attendance. It was my first trip to that shithole and probably my last. We have a great thing going with Auburn basketball and Pearl. I seriously doubt Oats will stay long at bama with the laughable fan support he currently has. The in state media won't touch their issues, but it would of been an embarassment if they were on ESPN last night for the world to see.

One of the worst venues I've ever been in. Hard to believe they haven't replaced it especially given the success we've had in our new space.

Their Saturday crowds are usually good for decent opponents but they can never get good midweek atmospheres. Which is bizarre because Tuscaloosa is a much bigger city than AU + decent proximity to Bham

I expect they will build a new arena. Probably a 12.5k seater.

They announced a renovation plan for Coleman at the end of 2024.
You don’t renovate what you will tear down.
Bammer wont build an arena and it’s going to cost them a coach. He will go to the NBA in a few years.
