?hy would Brian Kelly even consider it. Do you have any idea what kind of pay cut that would mean for him?

Would be wild since prior to BK, a coach has never left Notre Dame for another job, but then two coaches in a row do.

I would think most NFL teams don't interview guys who won't leave CFB

The Chicago Bear organization and owners will ruin any coach they might hire. It is already documented for you.

Won’t? Pfft. He can’t. No NFL team would touch him.

Kelly’s emphasis on player development doesn’t really translate to the NFL. He’s also not young and the NFL loves a young up & comer.

Why do you think Saban sucked so bad in the NFL?

He has been rumored for NFL openings in the past. Maybe he told his agent he’s happy as a college coach
It looks like nfl teams are lining up to interview Sam Pittman though…

Last head coach they took from us didn’t work out so well.

He's got enough money. An infinitely more relaxed schedule and better work-life balance would be quite the attraction.

Fewer kids to kill though.

Because he has expressly said he doesn't want to coach in the NFL.
