With Will Howard throwing dimes to those WR's, especially megatron 2.0, its a foregone conclusion.

Will Howard is 0-3 vs Texas.

That being said, Ohio State is the favorite for a reason. They are loaded and they are peaking at the right time. Texas needs to play their best game of the year to have a chance, but that may not be enough if the juggernaut shows up like it did the last 2 weeks.

Wait. Surely not?! I mean, we're talking about the same Texas that barely beat Arizona State (due to the officials) and lost to UGA twice?

Naa, I think Texas grows up tomorrow night and gets ready to fight for the glory and become the 7th team to earn a bonifide modern era National Championship.

OSU had been playing above its talent level and tomorrow that stage coach turns back into a pumpkin.

Yes they will.

...and that's not a knock on Texas. Ohio St is just that much better than everyone else.

The second best team in the country is Oregon, and we've already seen what they did to them.

I think Texas wins. Not because they are better but gambling destiny points that way. Everytime it's a sure thing it's not. When OSU played Tenn they were walking on their lips because they lost to Michigan. Heard how their heart wasn't in it. Then already lost to Oregon and played their A game already. Another surprise. Texas looks average, Ewers looks average and referee aided ASU game makes Texas look like they can't run with the Buckeyes. This is why I believe the Longhorns will win, because they shouldn't.

Let's reevaluate that presumption after the Texas vs Ohio St game. I'm not sure Oregon was all it was cracked up to be.

Wait. Surely not?! I mean, 13-2 Texas that beat Clemson and Big12 Champ Arizona State and lost to UGA twice (due to the officials).

Things are never as good as the hype. This applies to Ohio st. Looked great last 2 games looked like crap against michigan and mediocre earlier….osu will come back to their average performance….

Texasss impressed me with their conversion of a 4th and 13 pass to the end zone to save their season. Not as impressive is their tendency to let up and let teams back into the game…. Texasss as an underdog will probably make the focus harder and play a complete game me.

Thing with top SEC teams is they have been through the battles . Juggernauts look like Juggernauts until they don't.

The changes OSU made on On are now on tape.

If both teams play their A game, as in one of their best 2-3 performances of the year, OSU wins by 7-10

Based on most recent performances only, that has to be 14+

OSU can still be had on the OL at times IMO. TN and Oregon were down by 20 points and had to become one dimensional on offense.

If Texas can keep the game close until the second half, no reason their talent level cannot win them this game.

However, even Texas fans and insiders who have picked the game admit OSU should be the favorite and is better, but then say something like "I think TX finally plays a full 60 minutes and wins 27-24"

OSU has shown what they are capable of when fully hitting on everything. TX has not done it. Is this going to be the game TX does it, after 15 of not (maybe Michigan was a complete game for them they looked really good in that game)

I don't think Ohio State gets the initial surge they've enjoyed in other games against Texas Defense, and that is going to mess with their mentality and make it a dog fight and a close game...It's going to be tough for Texas to win though..Ewers has to have his best game of the season and not miss wide open receivers or tough throws downfield.
