Texas (61 blue chips) over Clemson (52 blue chips)
OSU (69 blue chips) over Tennessee (41 blue chips)
PSU (53 blue chips) over SMU (25 blue chips)
ND (58 blue chips) over Indiana (10 blue chips)
Texas (61 blue chips) over ASU (18 blue chips)
OSU (69 blue chips) over Oregon (56 blue chips)
PSU (53 blue chips) over Boise (2 blue chips)
To be decided
UGA (69 blue chips) vs ND (58 blue chips)
If the higher talented team keeps winning, UGA wins the above game and this is what happens the rest of the way.
UGA (69 blue chips) over PSU (53 blue chips)
OSU (69 blue chips) over Texas (61 blue chips)
Then... who knows? UGA with 69 vs OSU with 69. Not only do they both have 69 blue chips, both have 14 5-stars and 55 4-stars.

Great info. Where do you get this info? 247? Rivals?

Do we have what each team spent on NIL? Curious to see how the dollars/win works out. Looks like Phil Knight can't buy a NC.

I've never seen a site giving NIL dollars received by players. They all talk about "valuation" which is not the same thing, but instead is a dollar figure showing what players are "worth" based on things like their social media presence.

This will be a constant trend. Motivated talent is going to prevail. Fluke games will happen, but not for 3-4 straight games. The new format gives weaker teams more access but a lower chance of actually winning a title.
The rare exception I could see is a truly elite QB playing with average support cast (a Cam Newton situation).

Auburn still had more than half their roster as blue chips.
I think it's better to say that an elite QB with "good enough" talent can overcome elite overall talent with an average QB.
But an elite QB with sub 50% blue chips isn't going to be good enough.

Sub 50 percent has never been good enough. I suppose that someone might break that threshold at some point but it’s incredibly doubtful. Post season is when talented depth matters most.

If anything it matters MORE now. In the BCS era the post season was 1 game. In the 4-team playoff it was two.
Now it's 4-games (since the teams with byes have to win a CCG to get the bye).
That makes it even more unlikely for a lesser talent team that's coached well to come out on top.

Invalid info - doesn't factor in transfer rankings so three of OM's All-Americans still show as 3*'s even though they were blue chip transfer recruits

I believe tOSU has the most expensive roster. Texas probably has the second or third most expensive with Georgia.

Interesting take and research, thanks…
Am rooting for GA over ND this afternoon…

This is purely high school - nothing relevant to transfer as seen by Ole Miss

yes it is. It's your talent measured out of high school... just as it's always been.
Players can be coached better and develop into better players in college. But they don't get more talented.
And talent matters. The more rounds of playoffs you have... the more it matters.

This may be the dumbest shite I've ever read on this board.

And yet... the numbers are what the numbers are.
The talent numbers you disagree with are in fact predictive so far.
So while you believe it's the dumbest shite you've ever read... it's correct so far.

So exactly when does a player acquire maximal talent... that is not in part due to development.
I'd say that according to your theory it is when you are born (or conceived if you like) and then the rest of it is just "development".
