and even Brian Robinson in the NFL. All of these dudes were severely underutilized at BAMA.

Henry and Harris were perhaps the most egregious examples. Both physical freaks when they set foot on campus. Had to wait their turn.

They had great Junior years. Severely underutilized prior.

ETA: Najee so much so he wanted to transfer.

Exactly. Derrick Henry is one of the greatest RBs of all time and he had to wait til he was a Junior to really get the bulk of the carries.

He was totally wasted prior to that

Just to emphasize how underutilized he was, a limping, injured TJ Yeldon was given a 4th & 1 carry vs. Auburn which wouldve iced the game but he got stuffed. We had a fully healthy and fresh Derrick Henry sitting on the damn bench. That eventually would set up the kick 6 and blow the season.

Who made the decision to start Damien Harris?

People seemed to have forgotten who easily Henry got tripped up. If you went low, he'd fall on his face every time. He had to learn how to use his body, then it was over for defenses.

He had the same issue in the NFL. Eddie George apparently got in his face and mentored him, to teach Henry how to make people regret tackling him. There was a great article about it somewhere. But he didn't start out killing it in college or the NFL, though you could see the potential.

This is not accurate statement at all:

Henry: His 2014 season, He spilt time with Yeldon.
2015: Heisman. Enough said.

Jacobs: Spilt time with Harris/Scarbough, and he played on broken foot nobody knew about.

Harris: Dude was a beast.
Gibbs he was only at Alabama for 1 year. Almost had 1,000 yards.

If you're going to make a dumb statement, at least do your research.

Where is TJ Yeldon today? Henry showed a lot of flash in 2013. Especially in the bowl game.

Saban said he was “a demon on the field” regardless of his foot. Where are Damien Harris and Bo Scarborough today?

Najee wanted to quit. More than once.

Was totally underutilized or our other players sucked around this dude. Expected a ton out of him in passing game and special teams that was never realized.

You have made several.

Yup. Gibbs is one of the best RBs in the NFL. Dude is like prime Alvin Kamara.

He didn't even hit 1000 yards here. Unconscionable

Derrick Henry won the Heisman Trophy in 2015. Had the greatest season of any RB in SEC history.

Was a stud in high school. Stud in college.

But it took Buckeye Eddie George to set Derrick Henry straight on how to run a football.

The joke used to be on how much talent UGA wasted from 1980-2021.

Bama had more talent when UGA won their last two titles.

No one complains about getting too much pussy. They complain about the counts.

To be crystal fricking clear.

Jacobs, most definitely. Did he even have a hundred rushing game at Alabama?

Gibbs, definitely should have gotten the ball more over the other RBs on that 22 team.

No such thing as too much pussy or money but I get your point.
