The vaunted Tennessee D allowed Ohio St to get outside leverage all nite…Heupel refused to move the pocket for Nico when he was getting pressured early….that staff was completely out-classed.
Feels good to know that the vol nation talked all that shite simply because they really can’t act like they’ve been there before…because they really haven’t

At least Tn made the 12 team playoffs. Cant win a NC looking in from the outside. Just ask LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss etc. Plus Day was coaching for his job last night.

That same coach beat they tee total ever living fricking shite out of your current coach, at home. And your coach has choked in every big game he has ever played.

Heupel and Banks never adjust in game. Never have and probably never will. Saban even mentioned on Gameday without Pili UTs defense is basic. No blitzes, few if any stunts, and nothing really exotic. Defense was night and day different when Pili was was playing.
Offense hasn’t been the same since Golesh left. They aren’t really even going fast anymore. No creativity, no short passes to help Nico with a bad oline, no roll outs, etc.
Right now Nico is Joe 2.0

Tennessee’s offensive strategy basically is destroyed by all the best defensive teams they play. That’s been the case for several years.
They have a good DL but if you have a good enough OL to hold up ok, then their linebackers and secondary aren’t very good.

6/10 melt..anyway…
If Tennessee can’t overpower the other teams front 7 and that allows the defense to play cloud, cover 1 high, cover 2, Heupel can’t adjust…Mickey mouse shite from your coaching staff

This is it basically. If a team can limit their running game with 6 guys, UT is going to top out at 17-20 points.

True and it’s primarily due to poor oline play. They fold against good dlines. Elarbee is not a good coach and can’t recruit. The oline has gotten worse every year

That's an issue for the SEC. If you intentionally create unequal conference schedules, you end up with weaker teams in the playoffs. Same thing happened with Indiana and the Big 10. Maybe that was the goal of Sankey and his team.

Can you not admit now what a joke your schedule was? Your best win was bama in a game that you were lucky to win…losing to Arkansas, OT with Florida without Lagway and outclassed by Georgia…I saw this coming from a mile away

Quite frankly that was the difference in the game.
Ryan Day turned Chip Kelly loose.

No, it was a quality of our players. Ohio State has spent $20 million building that team. I think Tennessee is spent around 11 million for their team. We’re gonna have to up our game to 20 million also to be able to compete. There’s only three teams, Texas, Georgia and Ohio State that have that much talent.

Heupel is too damn loyal to some of his position coaches. I would have fired the OL coach two years ago. We have shown zero improvement against legit fronts.
Golesh was a much better play caller too. Lack of adjustments and preparations.
It’s not just teams that have good front sevens. We have choked time after time in games that they have had a week or more to prepare. Something is not right about that.

Heupel was pumped up pre-game though.

Disagree that it's due to poor OL play. That can certainly be a contributing factor, but it's not the root cause. Heupel's Mizzou offenses had the exact same problem when they encountered great defenses and there was no specific position group to point to. It's a Heupel issue.
