And they beat Georgia #2 team in the country. And went into LSU at night and won by 29.
SMU would lose both of those by 14+.
Add in beat SC. Add in beat Missou. While SMU best win was 7-5 Pitt. So yeah, their wins make up for the 3 losses. As obviously evidenced by what is going on right now.
I would think Bama would be up right now 17-14 if in this game.

SC finished the season whipping a CFP teams arse.
