This is just crazy! And we still have more to go with so many playoff teams.

2872 starters. How the hell is any coaching staff supposed to properly evaluate thousands of players in one month?

It’s ridiculous.

They know what the next step is in all this and might as well get on with it.

There's no way. There will be way more misses now, and I think it will increase parity.

They aren’t.

Amongst other reasons college ball never paid players or had open transfers. The system wasn’t created to handle it.

A great sport being destroyed.

Sucks.

The craziest thing to me is the almost 33,000 games started by players in the portal.

The system is broken, the only question at this point s whether it was intentional or an unintended side effect.

Rosters increase to 105 in 2025/26, correct?

Which means, if you're gonna do it, this is the year.

We all wanted parity at any cost. Well, we're getting it. And getting a very lousy product at that.

I am not surprised. What did we expect from the relaxed transfer rules and the compensation amounts for players? It is mind-boggling the magnitude of the situation. It is a disgrace how college football has been ruined and in such a short period of time.

It’s crazy how fast it happened.

It isn't increasing parity so much as decreasing the quality of play across the board.

The quality of football played this season borders on terrible. If this continues it will be abysmal.

Don’t know if it’s been posted, but Marshall withdrew from their bowl game because of not enough players

That's actually really sad, because if history is a predictor, 2000 of those players will never play football again.
