Mizzou is currently dominating Kansas. SEC basketball may have passed SEC football in how tough it will be to win the league.

The greatest this league has ever been.

It’s like Oats said, “the league just said frick it we want to be good”

Conference play will be an absolute blood bath.

I'm just pumped we're likely going to win a conference game.

This has been one of the better early basketball seasons in recent memory. Great games everywhere.

Which is why the out of conference performance is so important. There won't be many, if any, bad losses in the SEC this season once conference play gets rolling.

If there are 13 teams better than LSU then the SEC will get 14 teams into the tournament - the league is incredibly strong top to bottom

Oof, that's tough. That would take 13/36 at large bids. While, in a just world that would happen, in the real world where politics are involved...

It is kind of wild. It really wasn’t that long ago that the SEC was considered the weakest of the Power conference teams (2009 I think being the lowest - I might be wrong but isn’t that the season where the SEC champ LSU got an 8 or 9 seed vs UNC, we didn’t get in at all as the SEC-E co-champs, and only 3 teams got in total).

The fact that the SEC can go 14-2 vs the ACC used to be unthinkable. Even our crappy team has already hammered two lower tier ACC opponents.

I think the Gators will have a chance to win the regular season SEC conference this season.

Look for Auburn to be ranked #1 this upcoming week!

SEC grind will be intense!
