Anyone know much about these teams? Would love for UNLV to win this game and make the playoff after what that QB pulled on them.

Yes, they are a good team. However I think the refs will be wanting Boise tonight. Should be interesting

Interesting that this game is played on the smurf turf, and Boise gets HFA. Apparently the MWC is the only conference that has the team with the best conference record host the game.

Every G5 conference championship game is HFA except for the Mac. Given they play the Mac game in Detroit I think hfa is the best choice for G5.

They only lost by 5 points last time they played.

Boise beat UNLV earlier this season but any given Friday night, right?

I want it to be a high scoring game because I love UNLV’s OC Marion and have wanted him for the past 2 years as our OC. I also want to see Jeanty light it up.

Y’all remember when UNLV’s starting quarterback, who had transferred from Holy Cross, quit his teammates when they got to 3-0 so he could get more NIL money next year? And UNLV as a team got better without him? That is where we are.

It wasn’t so he could get more NIL. It’s because he never received a dime of his promised NIL from UNLV.

UNLV had a one point lead going into the 4th qtr of their first game. They also held Jeanty to his lowest total rushing (128 yards on 33 carries) other than PortlandSt where Jeanty only got 11 carries but still rushed for 127 yards.

Weather and refs will probably do UNLV in this week.

They claim they didn't promise him that but who knows. If it isn't in writing you are an idiot imo.

The transfer portal will not formally open until Dec. 9, but Sluka has not been a hot name early. A source told 247Sports that Sluka has received some MAC interest, but nothing in the power-conference range yet. His stock will get more tenuous as more talented passers enter the portal.

Either way, sounds like no one is offering him much now.

FAFO at work.

Yeah. He’s not getting much after his poor showing his first 3 games. Doesn’t surprise me he’s only getting MAC interest. That’s probably where he belongs.

I am betting we will never hear much about Matthew Sluka again.

He could have played for a Mountain West conference title tomorrow.

Doesn’t look like it. Las Vegas boys can’t handle 22 degree weather

This game could end up being 49-0 and I wouldn’t be shocked one bit

So Boise State will be the 3 seed if Clemson beats SMU.
