Texas should be out of the playoffs if they lose tomorrow

2 losses to the same team should disqualify you from the playoffs. Short schedule, 2 losses to UGA, why should UGA have to beat them 3 times?

Meh bama got 2 cracks in the BCS era. 3 cracks in the playoff era seems like the same thing.

uga should've been out of the playoffs before them and the refs robbed Georgia Tech in regulation.

Texas fans shouldn’t ever use the word refs against anyone. UGA beat Texas even with the refs deepthroating them

And they would still have no wins over a ranked team, and 2 losses to the only currently ranked team they played. should for sure be out if miami is out.

Oh you mean the OPI call that was called DPI, then it was corrected?
What uga had happen against Georgia Tech was 100x worse.

Bama currently has a top 5 class... Do you honestly think you're not spending outrageous amounts of money this cycle? You think kids look at a 3 loss Bama team that's lost all it's luster and say "I'd take a pay cut to play there!"

I completely agree with OP. And I have no particular disdain for Texas. It's just logical.
Say they meet up a 3rd time, UGA has won the first two, but TX wins the 3rd one, the one that matters, UGA still has 2/3 in the "series" but still goes home.
Ain't that some shite.
Two losses to UGA should earn UGA a right to rematch Ole Miss, Bama, or give Tennessee a shot at a rematch against UGA.
There's no logical room in the playoff for TX if they lose tomorrow.

Kiffin spoke to this in his signing day PC. He basically stated that some teams are going to be burned on HS recruits because they want a specific player and will overpay them. Add in the revenue share and they are going to be drained completely of their money. He's taking a moderate approach and only paying the big bucks for proven players in the portal. There comes a point when a HS player becomes too expensive when you weigh their lack of experience at the college level. He also made a good point that some coaches are going to be on hotseats and will blow the budget for a splash on signing day but that is bad for the long term success of the program.

That worked when you had Saban, because he was literally the GOAT. It will not work for Alabama going forward because now you have a coach that lost to Vanderbilt and a shite Oklahoma team.
