Dumb as shite...no news there. Can't believe he gets paid for his stupid takes.
I'm also getting really tired of the talking heads saying Bama's "brand" is why they would get in over SMU if they lost the ACCCG.
Yes, Bama would bring bigger ratings, but the REASON is because SMU has a crap schedule and has no real impressive wins...same as Miami. Has nothing to do with the "brand"...and the "right thing" is to reward teams that play tough schedules and have multiple wins over ranked teams. Just getting really sick of this narrative. Booger also lobbied for FSU last year...he and Danny Kanell should be dating.

ESPN has no credibility. Between he, Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark, anyone can predict that they hate Alabama openly. They’re former LSU players. I just absolutely despise that network. I wish that we didn’t have a contract affiliation with them. The fact that McFarland has been working for ESPN for almost a decade ruins their credibility. He is absolutely terrible and has a face only a mother could love.

Some of them started on SEC Network. Doubt many have a journalism or broadcasting degree.

Spears is fricking obnoxious. When he comes on, I don’t watch. Ryan Clark is a hot head who yells like a maniac the whole time. Booger is a brain damaged idiot who is on there for no good reason. There is literally no reason why he should be working for ESPN. The majority of people who now work for them now are insufferable jackasses. Whether it be these people, Heather Dinich, Finebaum, whoever. The quality of their product has hit rock bottom.

Kannell was fired by ESPN because of his blatant biased reporting. For some odd reason they don’t get rid of Booger. Hmmmm I wonder why ?

I was a bit concerned about the quality of ESPN broadcasts for 2024 compared to what we were used to with CBS.
ESPN cleaning house (that thankfully included RGIII) over the summer seems to have cleaned up a lot of their broadcasts. Was pleasantly surprised with pretty much every SEC game I watched this season, 'Bama's included.
It's still not perfect (like Tessitore still hanging around), and hopefully McFarland will be a casualty during the next round of layoffs.
