USC v. Bama H2H

People point to this as evidence that Bama is better than USC.
If that’s the case, why aren’t we pointing to Bama v. OU or v. Vandy to evidence that OU and Vandy are better than Bama?
Bama’s win v. USC shouldn’t define that they are a better team than USC.
Merit, “deserving”? Sure, whatever.
But no reason to believe Bama is better. And that’s the only criteria for the CFP

Georgia fans are becoming like LsU fans more and more with each passing day of their melt. 1-9 out of 10 and 41-34… get over it…

2 weeks removed from "the worst loss in program history" according to their own fan base and alums.

When every other metric is either tied or slightly leans one way or the other, yes that's kind of how it works.

You’re right, I stand corrected… only what goes on for two weeks in an entire season counts… don’t worry about the head to head…

Listen, Georgia only almost lost to a team that went 1-8 vs the P4 and another than went 7-5 in the ACC (both with serious help from the officials) while also being obliterated for 3 of the 4 halves against Alabama and Ole Miss.
They are an elite team that fears nobody. Koreadog's behavior lately just confirms that.

The CFP has no “tiebreakers”. They also have no “criteria”.
What they have is a “Mission”, which states: “The committee’s task will be to select the best teams”
(They also have “Principles”, which are examples of tools they could use, and does include H2H. But again, no reason to directly connect H2H results with “better”. Unless you Bama fans want to admit Vandy and OU are better teams than the Tide)

While we’re on the H2H, you do remember what happened to Georgia correct?

Why even play the games if head to head is not the best measurement?

Any argument that suggest Carolina is clearly "better" than Alabama is idiotic and based on nothing but feels. They aren't, by any metric that is available. Similar? Sure.

Last year they kept Texas ahead of Bama because of the head to head. We lost to them in week 2, they lost to Oklahoma in week 6. And they still stayed ahead of Bama every week.

This shite has been discussed to death. At this point anyone still bitching just hates Bama and didn’t want them in.

Bama isnt even officially in the playoff yet. I dont see how this topic can be debated further, but I suppose you can keep bitching if it makes you feel better
