They are picking up WSU’s John Mateer I’d bet. That kid is a playmaker but hasn’t faced any real defenses at WSU. They recently hired his OC

Have you seen him play? He’s arguably half a step up from Michael Hawkins. But even that’s iffy.

Is that really a tire fire?

He's all you have. This is kind of like looking at your small penis and thinking "what am I going to do with this little thing?"

Yeah, we have an actual couple of coaches that know what to do with a QB.
Brady Cook was a career back up he turned into a guy that pushed for the playoffs.
If we're even interested...

so Dillon Gabriel transferred because Jackson Arnold was going to start. And now Jackson Arnold is transferring the following season. This sport

Kid looks good.. actually looks better than any QB Texas faced this year imo.. Gets rid of the ball quick and appears to go through the different options fairly quickly as well.. didn't see any plays where he faced a lot of pressure though

He does nothing but fumble and lose games.
It’s like you looking at your penis that still haven’t used on a woman at the age 40 and saying “well shoot, looks like I’ll have another year of virginity.”

OU bet on the wrong horse..
It would be comparable to Ewers deciding to stay for another year.. and transferring because Texas wants Arch to be QB1 next year.. and then Arch getting benched because he isn't as good as hoped.. and then transferring at year end..
It happens.

Arnold may end up a world beater with a line that gives him time and some actual receiving threats….be interesting to see where he lands

He’lll probably go somewhere and end up a heisman finalist with OUs luck lately.

OU didn't bet on any horse.
Gabriel left to play his final year closer to home and staying wasn't an option. Period.

if staying wasn't an option, that means you bet on the wrong horse.

No. No it does not.
"Betting on the wrong horse" would be telling Gabriel to look elsewhere while betting on Arnold.

Only Missouri fans are the last to know WSU John Mateer on the way …. Flat tire Missouri who lost their only elite recruit to A@M lol to the bottom !
Arnold will be very similiar to Rattler … both panic in different ways but with a good oc and qb coach which OU now has and didn’t while he was here , Arnold could really help a team in the power four. I am guessing he can go to most of the schools including playoff teams . If Ohio state can pick up a backup qb from ksu then he can go anywhere !
